a mortal: by flesh and blood
a teacher: first, by soul; second, by trade
a friend: innately
a mind: addicted to words and love
a giver: without cease or reservation
a smile: indelible
the world lost these things yesterday.
after conquering leukemia three times before, the woman who helped me uncover the power in words, showed me how to have courageous creativity, and as i reflect, will teach me new things for years to come, finally faltered to the relentless disease in flesh, but never in spirit.
