the beginning of summer is a blank page which we fill with countless outlines and rough drafts of goals and things we'd love to do. there is a feeling of new beginning, an abundance of time that stirs the aspirations inside our skin. the trouble arises when the aspiration stays beneath the skin like a tick. a very kind tick, mind you. it will not emerge on its own.
so here's to digging out those tweezers and seeing what beautiful shape this tick will take when it dislodges from the warm confines of my insides and makes friends with the oxygen of the atmosphere.
p.s. a couple pictures of moab.

Alive? No. But I do exist. And I am quite well.
How the heck are you doing?
ps. Moab rocks. No pun intended. And how was that?
