sail so blue

trying to sink sorrow,
by loading the lighthearted on deck,
but they just float away.
and i'm left to scrub the floorboards
discover what makes the shipsail so blue.
and i'm left thinking of you,
lying with your back against white sheets,
alone in sedation,
in your troublesand i need to sail with you.
instead continents and an ocean wide
seem to impede.
know that over the miles,
i've cried hard,
and forever you'll reside
in this pale blue
heart.
